We picked up Pete (Schoey) !/2 hr early and headed off for Black Prince, We unloaded all our gear, food etc and started stowing it and waited for Ste and mark, and waited and waited and waited.
Eventually they realised the boat was on the Cana; and not the River Weaver and made it to The right marina.

Got a quick chat about the boat (the mighty NB Mimi,) and managed to get away eventually baout 3:30

Preston Brook Stop lock went fine, Phil gave a quick lock course but to be fair its that small we hardly noticed it.

We just missed the timing for Preston Brook tunnel so had to wait 40 mins or so (Blackers get the Kettle on.)
entered the tunnel all fine, then boat in front stalled, once, twice three times its fucked up.
So international annoracks to the rescue, schoey did a titanic style leaning betwean the 2 boats, Ste putting power on/off Phil steering nb Elf (the broken down boat) whilst its own skipper fended it off the tunnel wall up front. We realised later his wife had a nweborn baby inside so he was pretty much on his own.
We got him through the tunnel then towed them to their moorings at Preston Brook (where we recieved 20 for our efforts.)

Then on to London Bridge almost dark by this time (something that became regular during our outing.) Ste and Blackers off to the chippy 20 in hand while we sorted the boat and got the TV ready for the 1st of the new DR Who, couple of drinks and bed.
